Ingredients
- Colored construction paper (brown, red, yellow, orange)
- Scissors
- Glue stick or craft glue
- Markers or crayons
- A strip of cardstock or a paper plate for the headband
- Googly eyes or stickers (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare Your Headband: Measure your head and cut a long strip of cardstock or paper that fits comfortably around your head. Secure ends with glue or tape to create a circle.
- Create Turkey Features: From the brown construction paper, cut out a large oval shape for the turkey’s body. Cut smaller shapes for the beak and wattle from red and orange paper.
- Add the Feathers: Cut feather shapes from the remaining colored paper. Aim for 4-6 feathers in various colors.
- Assemble the Turkey: Glue the feathers onto the back of the turkey body. Attach the googly eyes, beak, and wattle to the turkey’s face.
- Finalize Your Headband: Glue the finished turkey head to the front of your headband and allow to dry completely before wearing.
Notes
Customize the colors with metallic or glitter paper and write messages of gratitude on the feathers.
