Description

A fun and engaging DIY project for making colorful ice chalk, perfect for outdoor art and sensory play.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 cups corn starch
  • Food coloring (variety of colors)
  • Muffin tin or ice cube trays
  • Mixing bowl
  • Spoon or whisk
  • Freezer

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine 2 cups of water and 2 cups of corn starch, and mix until smooth.
  2. Divide the mixture into separate bowls and add food coloring to each, stirring until the desired color is achieved.
  3. Pour the colored mixtures into the muffin tin or ice cube trays, ensuring an even fill.
  4. Place the molds in the freezer for at least 4-6 hours, or until completely frozen.
  5. Once frozen, remove the ice chalk from the molds and take it outside to create art on pavement or sidewalks.
