- 1 cup of liquid starch
- Food coloring (red, blue, and white)
- Mixing bowls
- Spoon or spatula
- Baking sheet or parchment paper
- Optional: Glitter for an extra sparkle
Instructions
- Prepare Your Workspace: Gather all materials on a clean, flat surface. Place a baking sheet or parchment paper to catch drips.
- Mix the Glue and Starch: In a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of white school glue and 1 cup of liquid starch. Stir the mixture with a spoon or spatula until it starts to thicken.
- Add Color: Divide the mixture into three separate bowls. In one bowl, add red food coloring; in another, blue food coloring. Keep the third bowl white. Mix thoroughly until you achieve your desired shades.
- Form the Balls: Take a small amount of each colored mixture and roll it into a ball shape. Combine colors to create marbled effects or keep them solid.
- Let Them Dry: Place the completed bouncy balls onto the baking sheet. Allow them to dry for 24 hours before playing with them.
Notes
Customize colors by experimenting with different shades. Store leftover bouncy balls in an airtight container.
