- Glass or ceramic containers for crystals
- Spoon for scooping
- Optional: glitter for sparkle
Instructions
- Heat the water in a cooking pot until it comes to a gentle boil.
- Gradually stir in the sugar until fully dissolved, creating a saturated solution.
- Add several drops of food dye to the solution to achieve the desired color.
- Pour the colored sugar solution into glass or ceramic containers, filling them halfway.
- If desired, sprinkle glitter on top for added shimmer.
- Let the containers sit undisturbed in a cool, dry place for several days.
- Check daily to observe the growth of beautiful crystals.
- Watch as the stones change color depending on temperature and light.
Notes
Try using salt instead of sugar for a different crystalline effect. You can customize colors with different food dyes and even add flavors for a fun twist.
