Description

Learn to make beautiful and customizable coffee filter flowers that bring a touch of nature into your home without the need for watering.

Ingredients

  • Coffee filters (bleached or unbleached)
  • Water-based markers or food coloring
  • Scissors
  • Pipe cleaners (or floral wire)
  • Small cup or bowl (for dyeing, optional)
  • Paintbrush or spray bottle (if using dye)
  • Optional: glitter, beads, or additional embellishments

Instructions

  1. Take 3-5 coffee filters and stack them neatly.
  2. Use markers or food coloring to enhance the filters’ appearance.
  3. Fold the stacked filters in half, then in half again to make a triangle and cut edges to create petal shapes.
  4. Unfold the filters gently and gather the center, twisting to secure with a pipe cleaner or floral wire.
  5. Fluff the petals to create a natural blooming effect and add optional embellishments.

Notes

Experiment with different colors and techniques for unique designs. These flowers can last indefinitely if stored properly.
