Description
A fun and easy DIY project to create charming coffee filter dancers that inspire creativity.
Ingredients
- Coffee filters (white or colored)
- Markers or food coloring
- Scissors
- String or ribbon
- Glue or tape
- Small bead or button (for the head)
- Optional: additional decorative items (glitter, stickers)
Instructions
- Clear a table and gather all your materials. Lay out the coffee filters and ensure your markers or colors are ready.
- Use markers or food coloring to decorate the coffee filters. Allow creativity—swirl colors, create patterns, or draw designs. Set aside to dry if using wet colors.
- Once dry, fold each coffee filter into a cone shape to form a skirt. Cut a small section from the center to create an opening for the head.
- Attach the bead or button at the top of the cone using glue or tape; this acts as the head. Use string or ribbon to create arms by threading through the filters.
- Secure the arms with glue if needed. Decorate further with glitter or stickers for a festive touch.
Notes
Experiment with different sizes of coffee filters and materials for heads. Swap colors based on season or theme.
