  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup salt
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • Food coloring (various colors)

  • Rolling pin (optional)
  • Baking utensils (optional for decorating)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour and salt. Stir until well combined.
  2. Pour in the water and vegetable oil. Add food coloring if desired. Mix until a dough forms.
  3. Dust a clean surface with flour, and knead the dough for about 5 minutes until smooth and pliable.
  4. Divide the dough into smaller portions for different colors. Roll, pinch, and shape the dough into monster designs.
  5. Add details using small beads or buttons for eyes and mouths. Get creative with textures!
  6. Optional: Preheat your oven to 200°F (93°C). Place the monsters on a cookie sheet lined with wax paper and bake for 30 minutes to an hour depending on thickness. Allow to cool before handling.
