Description

A fun and interactive art project that combines creativity and science, perfect for all ages.

Ingredients

  • White paper or cardstock
  • Straws
  • Non-toxic liquid watercolor or food coloring
  • Dish soap
  • Water
  • Bowls for mixing
  • Optional: Apron or old clothes

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Bubble Paint: In a bowl, combine 1 part liquid watercolor (or food coloring) with 2 parts water. Add a squirt of dish soap to the mixture. Stir gently to combine.
  2. Set Up Your Workspace: Lay the white paper flat on a surface, covering it with newspaper or a plastic sheet to catch spills.
  3. Blow Bubbles: Dip a straw into the bubble mixture and gently blow through it to create bubbles, aiming for a frothy layer on top.
  4. Transfer to Paper: Carefully place the paper over the bowl to let the bubbles burst and leave colorful prints.
  5. Repeat: Continue adding bubbles and transferring to the paper until you achieve your desired look.
  6. Let it Dry: Allow your artwork to dry completely before handling, which may take a few hours.

Notes

Customize colors and try using different bubble tools for varied effects. Use textured paper for a unique surface.
