Description

A delightful hands-on project perfect for sensory play, combining elements of play dough and bubbles to enhance creativity and relaxation.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups of flour
  • 1/2 cup of cornstarch
  • 1 cup of water
  • 1 cup of dish soap
  • 1/4 cup of glycerin (optional)
  • Food coloring (optional)
  • A large mixing bowl
  • A whisk or spoon for mixing

Instructions

  1. Mix dry ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine 2 cups of flour and 1/2 cup of cornstarch. Stir well to ensure there are no clumps.
  2. Combine wet ingredients: In another bowl, mix 1 cup of water, 1 cup of dish soap, and 1/4 cup of glycerin (if using). Add a few drops of food coloring for added fun.
  3. Combine mixtures: Gradually pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients, stirring continuously until a dough begins to form. It should feel soft but not sticky.
  4. Knead the dough: Take the dough out of the bowl and knead it with your hands for 2-3 minutes until it transforms into a smooth, elastic texture.
  5. Store your Bubble Dough in an airtight container to keep it fresh.

Notes

Customize colors with different food coloring or add essential oils for various scents. You can also mix in small beads or glitter for added texture.
