Description

A refreshing, hydrating drink made with apple cider vinegar, citrus, and a touch of sweetness. Perfect for a morning boost or afternoon pick-me-up.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 ounces room temperature water
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons raw apple cider vinegar
  • Juice of half a lime or lemon
  • 1 teaspoon honey or real maple syrup
  • Pinch of fine sea salt
  • Optional: 1 to 2 teaspoons fresh grated ginger, pinch of cinnamon or cayenne, or splash of sparkling water

Instructions

  1. Add water to a glass.
  2. Stir in apple cider vinegar and citrus juice until cloudy.
  3. Add sweetener and salt, stirring again.
  4. Taste and adjust as needed: add more water if too strong, or more honey if too tart.
  5. Incorporate optional boosters just before sipping.

Notes

For those new to apple cider vinegar (ACV), start with 1 teaspoon to adjust to taste. If using, drink with a straw to protect sensitive teeth and rinse afterward.
