Description

Create stunning Borax crystals with flowers for a beautiful indoor decoration that combines science and artistry.


Ingredients

  • Borax powder
  • Boiling water
  • Jar or glass container
  • Fresh or dried flowers
  • String or thread (optional)
  • Spoon for stirring
  • Measuring cup

Instructions

  1. Prepare your workspace by laying down newspaper or a tablecloth.
  2. Boil water until it reaches a rolling boil.
  3. Measure 3 tablespoons of Borax for every cup of boiling water.
  4. Carefully add the Borax to the water and stir until dissolved.
  5. Cut fresh flowers to desired length and remove any leaves below the water line.
  6. Place flowers in the jar or container.
  7. Pour the Borax solution over the flowers, ensuring they are fully submerged.
  8. Set the jar in a place where it won’t be disturbed for 24-48 hours to form crystals.
  9. Carefully remove the flowers from the solution and rinse gently with cool water.

Notes
