Description

Ingredients

  • Borax (1/2 cup)
  • Boiling water (2 cups)
  • Pipe cleaners (multi-colored)
  • Glass jars (one for each flower)
  • A spoon (for mixing)
  • Food coloring (optional)
  • String (for hanging, optional)
  • A small pot for boiling water

Instructions

  1. Prepare the pipe cleaner flowers by twisting them into flower shapes and adding leaves.
  2. Boil 2 cups of water in a pot and carefully add 1/2 cup of Borax, stirring until dissolved.
  3. Immerse the pipe cleaner flowers in the Borax solution and secure them in jars.
  4. Place the jars in a stable location overnight for crystal formation.
  5. After 6-12 hours, gently remove the flowers to reveal the crystalline formations.
