Description

Create beautiful blue crayon suncatchers that bring color and creativity into your home. This fun and easy craft is perfect for all ages!


Ingredients

  • Blue crayons (different shades recommended)
  • Wax paper
  • An iron (adult supervision required)
  • Scissors
  • A hole punch (optional)
  • String or fishing line (for hanging)
  • Baking sheet (optional for stability)

Instructions

  1. Prepare your workspace by laying out your materials on a flat surface and preheating your iron to a low setting without steam.
  2. Remove the paper from the blue crayons and create crayon shavings using a sharpener or knife.
  3. Place a sheet of wax paper on your workspace and evenly sprinkle the blue crayon shavings in a desired pattern on one half of the wax paper.
  4. Fold the wax paper over to cover the shavings.
  5. Place the folded wax paper between two sheets of baking sheet for stability and gently press the warm iron on top for a few seconds.
  6. Carefully remove the wax paper and let it cool slightly, then cut out desired shapes and use a hole punch for hanging.
  7. Thread string or fishing line through the hole and hang it up in a sunny spot.
