Description

Create beautiful blue crayon suncatchers that add vibrant colors to any window. This relaxing craft is perfect for both kids and adults!

Ingredients

  • Blue crayons (regular or metallic)
  • Wax paper
  • Iron
  • Parchment paper
  • Scissors
  • Hanging tools (string, suction cups, or tape)
  • Ironing board (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare Your Workspace: Lay down wax paper on a flat surface.
  2. Crayon Prep: Remove wrappers from blue crayons and break them into small pieces. Scatter the bits on one piece of wax paper.
  3. Cover & Heat: Place another piece of wax paper on top of the crayon bits. Set the iron to low heat and press over the sandwich for a few seconds to melt the crayons.
  4. Cool & Cut: Allow the melted sandwich to cool for a minute, then cut into desired shapes with scissors.
  5. Hang Your Masterpiece: Use string or suction cups to display your suncatcher in a sunny window.

Notes

Mix different colors for unique designs and add glitter for a shimmering effect. Use cookie cutters for specific shapes.
