Description
Create stunning blue crayon suncatchers that brighten up your space while repurposing old crayons.
Ingredients
- Blue crayons (old or new)
- Baking sheet
- Parchment paper
- Oven
- Cookie cutter (optional for shapes)
- String or suction cups (for hanging)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 200°F (93°C).
- Peel the wrappers off the crayons and break them into small pieces, about 1-inch long.
- Lay a piece of parchment paper on the baking sheet and scatter the blue crayon pieces in any shape or design.
- Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and watch carefully as the crayons melt (about 10-15 minutes).
- Once melted, remove from the oven and let it cool for about 15-20 minutes.
- Peel off the parchment paper gently to create your suncatcher.
- Attach string or suction cups to the top and display it on a sunny window.
Notes
Experiment with combining blue crayons with other colors for a vibrant look. Use different shaped cookie cutters for unique designs.
