Description

A delightful DIY project transforming blue crayons into beautiful suncatchers that adds vibrant color and charm to your home decor.


Ingredients

  • Blue crayons (old or new)
  • Baking sheet or silicone mold
  • Parchment paper
  • Oven (or a hairdryer)
  • Scissors (optional)
  • String or clear fishing line (for hanging)

Instructions

  1. Gather all your blue crayons and remove the wrappers.
  2. Break the crayons into small pieces for quicker melting.
  3. Preheat your oven to 200°F (93°C).
  4. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or use a silicone mold.
  5. Spread broken blue crayon pieces evenly on the baking sheet or inside the mold.
  6. Place it in the oven and melt for about 10-15 minutes, watching closely.
  7. Once melted, remove from the oven and allow to cool completely (30-60 minutes).
  8. Gently peel them off the parchment paper or mold.
  9. If desired, use scissors to make a small hole and thread the string or fishing line for hanging.
