Ingredients

  • Blue Crayons
  • Clear plastic sheets or old CDs
  • Oven-safe pan or baking sheet
  • Parchment paper
  • Cookie cutter (for shapes, optional)
  • Scissors

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 200°F (93°C).
  2. Remove wrappers from blue crayons and break them into small pieces.
  3. Arrange crayon pieces on clear plastic sheets or inside the pan.
  4. Line baking sheet with parchment paper.
  5. Bake for 5-10 minutes until crayons are melted, watching closely to prevent burning.
  6. Remove from oven and let cool slightly, then use cookie cutters to create shapes, if desired.
  7. Once fully cooled, carefully remove the suncatcher from the plastic or pan.
  8. Punch a hole at the top and tie a piece of string or fishing line for hanging.
