Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup of cornstarch
  • 1 cup of water
  • 1 tablespoon of vinegar
  • Food coloring (your choice of colors)
  • Non-stick cooking spray or parchment paper
  • Cookie cutters (optional)
  • Paintbrushes (optional for detailing)

Instructions

  1. Combine Ingredients: In a medium saucepan, mix cornstarch, water, and vinegar.
  2. Heat the Mixture: Place over medium heat and continuously stir.
  3. Watch for Transformation: Once heated, the mixture will thicken to a gel-like consistency in about 5 minutes.
  4. Introduce Color: Remove from heat and add food coloring.
  5. Mix Well: Stir until color is evenly distributed.
  6. Prepare Your Surface: Lightly coat a flat surface or use parchment paper.
  7. Pour the Mixture: Shape using cookie cutters or freehand.
  8. Set to Dry: Allow to cool and set overnight or in a warm, dry spot.
