Description

Create your own spooky baking soda spider web slime, perfect for Halloween or imaginative play. This easy and customizable slime is a fun activity for kids and adults alike.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup of white school glue
  • 1 cup of water
  • 1 tablespoon of baking soda
  • 1 tablespoon of contact lens solution (with boric acid)
  • Black or purple food coloring (optional)
  • Glitter (optional, for extra sparkle)
  • Mixing bowl
  • Spoon or spatula

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of white school glue with 1 cup of water. Stir well until fully blended.
  2. Sprinkle in 1 tablespoon of baking soda and mix until fully dissolved.
  3. If desired, add a few drops of black or purple food coloring and mix until evenly distributed.
  4. Slowly add 1 tablespoon of contact lens solution while stirring continuously. The mixture will begin to clump together.
  5. Once the slime holds together, knead it with your hands, adding more contact solution if it’s too sticky.
  6. For extra sparkle, sprinkle in glitter and mix well.

Notes

For texture variation, try adding a bit of cornstarch or lotion. Experiment with different colors and scents to customize your slime.
