Description

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup baking soda
  • 1/2 cup white vinegar
  • 1/4 cup cornstarch
  • Optional: food coloring, glitter, or paint for decoration
  • Mixing bowl
  • Whisk or spoon
  • Parchment paper or silicone baking mat
  • Cookie cutters (snowflake shapes)
  • Baking tray
  • String or ribbon for hanging

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of baking soda and 1/2 cup of white vinegar. Stir in 1/4 cup of cornstarch until a smooth dough forms.
  2. Preheat your oven to 200°F (93°C) and place parchment paper or a silicone mat on your baking tray.
  3. Roll out the dough to about 1/4 inch thick and cut out snowflake shapes with cookie cutters.
  4. Bake for 2 to 3 hours until firm and dry; let cool completely on a wire rack.
  5. Once cooled, decorate with food coloring, glitter, or paint and thread string or ribbon for hanging.
