- 1/2 cup cornstarch
- 3/4 cup water

Instructions
- In a non-stick pot, combine baking soda and cornstarch. Add water and whisk thoroughly until there are no lumps.
- Place the pot on medium heat, stirring constantly until the mixture thickens to a dough-like consistency.
- Remove from heat and allow the mixture to cool slightly. Transfer to a clean surface or bowl until manageable.
- Preheat your oven to 200°F (93°C). Roll out the dough to 1/4 inch thickness on a parchment-lined cookie sheet. Use cookie cutters to cut out shapes.
- Bake for 1–2 hours until hard and dry, turning halfway for even drying.
- After cooling, decorate with paint or glitter and attach ribbon for hanging.
Notes
For added creativity, try using different cookie cutter shapes or adding food coloring for colored ornaments. Store finished ornaments in an airtight container to protect from moisture.
