Description

Create magical winter wonderland baking soda snow trees with this delightful and easy craft suitable for all ages.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups baking soda
  • 1 cup white glue
  • 1 cup water
  • Glitter, artificial snow, or sequins (optional for decoration)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine 2 cups of baking soda and 1 cup of white glue.
  2. Gradually add 1 cup of water while mixing with a fork or whisk until you achieve a thick, moldable consistency.
  3. Scoop a handful of the mixture and shape it into a cone to mimic a tree trunk, tapering at the top.
  4. While the mixture is still wet, sprinkle it with glitter or other decorative items and press down lightly.
  5. Place your snow tree on wax paper or an old baking tray to dry for 24-48 hours until hard.

Notes

For added creativity, use food coloring for custom colors and experiment with different bases for tree stability.
