Instructions
- Soak the pipe cleaners in water for about 10 minutes.
- Bend and twist the soaked pipe cleaners into tree-like shapes.
- In a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of baking soda, 1/3 cup of white vinegar, and 1/4 cup of corn syrup.
- Mix the ingredients slowly to avoid excess bubbling.
- Divide the mixture into several bowls and add different food coloring to each.
- Stand your shaped pipe cleaners in a shallow dish or baking tray.
- Carefully pour the colored mixtures over the pipe cleaners, ensuring they are fully submerged.
- Set the dish aside for 24-48 hours to allow the crystals to form.
