Instructions
- Prepare your workspace by clearing an area and laying down parchment paper or spraying with cooking spray.
- In a medium saucepan, combine baking soda, vinegar, and cornstarch. Cook over medium heat, stirring until thickened (5-7 minutes).
- Remove from heat and transfer the dough to a bowl, letting it cool for 10-15 minutes.
- Once cooled, sprinkle cornstarch on the surface and roll out the dough to 1/4-inch thickness.
- Use cookie cutters to cut out shapes and transfer them to a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Poke a hole at the top of each ornament using a straw or toothpick for hanging.
- Allow ornaments to air dry for at least 24 hours, flipping halfway through.
- Once dry, decorate with food coloring, essential oils, or glitter if desired.
