Description

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup baking soda
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/4 cup white vinegar
  • Food coloring (various colors)
  • Shallow dish or tray
  • Craft stick or spoon for mixing

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of baking soda with 1/2 cup of water and stir until a paste forms.
  2. Slowly pour in 1/4 cup of white vinegar and watch the fizzy reaction.
  3. Add a few drops of food coloring to the mixture.
  4. Mold the baking soda paste into tree shapes on a shallow dish.
  5. Allow the trees to dry completely in a well-ventilated area for several hours to overnight.
  6. Once dry, observe the crystalline structures resembling trees and display your creations.
