- 1 cup baking soda
- 1/2 cup cornstarch
- 3/4 cup water
- Cookie cutter (snowflake shape)
- Baking sheet
- Parchment paper
- Optional: food coloring or glitter for decoration
Instructions
- In a medium saucepan, combine baking soda, cornstarch, and water. Stir on low heat until thickened to dough-like consistency.
- Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
- Preheat your oven to 200°F (95°C).
- Lay parchment paper on a baking sheet.
- Knead the dough on a clean surface until smooth, then roll out to 1/4 inch thickness or pat down with hands.
- Use a snowflake cookie cutter to cut shapes from the dough and place them on the baking sheet.
- Bake for 2-3 hours until completely dry and hard to the touch.
- Allow to cool completely before handling.
- If desired, decorate with paint or glitter and attach a loop for hanging.
