Ingredients

  • 1 cup baking soda
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup corn syrup
  • Food coloring (optional)
  • Heart-shaped cookie cutter or mold
  • Shallow dish or tray
  • Spoon for mixing

Instructions

  1. Prepare Your Space: Choose a clean, flat surface and lay down newspaper or paper towels.
  2. Mix the Ingredients: In a bowl, mix 1 cup of baking soda with 1/2 cup of water until dissolved. Stir in 1/2 cup of corn syrup.
  3. Add Color: Add a few drops of food coloring to the mixture if desired.
  4. Mold: Pour the mixture into your heart-shaped cookie cutter or mold.
