Description

Create enchanting glowing night trees using baking soda and glow in the dark paint, perfect for adding a magical touch to your home.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup Baking soda
  • ½ cup White glue
  • ½ cup Water
  • Glow in the dark paint (green or blue)
  • Craft or paint brushes
  • Black cardstock or thick paper
  • Optional: Clear coat spray for durability

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix 1 cup of baking soda with ½ cup of white glue. Gradually add in ½ cup of water, stirring until smooth.
  2. Use black cardstock to cut out tree silhouettes. Trace designs before cutting for cleaner edges.
  3. Apply a thick layer of the baking soda mixture onto the surfaces of your tree cutouts using brushes.
  4. Once the mixture is applied, add glow in the dark paint carefully over the top, fully covering the baking soda.
  5. Allow the trees to dry completely, then place them in a sunny spot to charge the glow pigment and display them in a dimly lit area.

Notes

Experiment with different colors of glow paint and consider adding glitter for extra sparkle.
