Description

Create a magical Baking Soda Glowing Ghost Snow Globe, perfect for festive decor and a fun craft activity for all ages.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup baking soda
  • 1/3 cup water
  • Food coloring (white, yellow, or other colors)
  • 1 clear glass jar with lid
  • Mini ghost figurines (store-bought or homemade)
  • Glitter (optional)
  • Waterproof glue
  • Small LED tea light or glow stick

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Ghosts: Mix a small amount of baking soda with water to form a dough. Shape into ghost figures and let dry. Skip this step if using mini figurines.
  2. Create the Slime: Combine 1 cup of baking soda with 1/3 cup of water in a mixing bowl. Add a few drops of food coloring and mix until uniform. Optional: add glitter!
  3. Assemble the Globe: Place ghost figurines inside the glass jar. Spoon the glow-in-the-dark baking soda mixture around and on top of the figurines.
  4. Complete the Globe: Secure the lid tightly on the jar. Place an LED tea light or glow stick at the bottom for illumination.
  5. Enjoy the Magic: Turn off the lights and watch your creation glow!

Notes

For a spooky effect, add fake cobwebs or small spiders. Experiment with different color combinations for the baking soda mixture.
