Description

Create a mesmerizing glowing bubble lamp using simple ingredients. Perfect for kids’ rooms and fun science experiments!


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup of warm water
  • 1 tablespoon of baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon of dish soap
  • 12 teaspoons of food coloring (your choice of colors)
  • Clear plastic bottle or jar (with a wide mouth)
  • Small LED light or glow stick
  • Straw (optional for blowing bubbles)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix 1 cup of warm water and 1 tablespoon of baking soda until dissolved.
  2. Add 1 teaspoon of dish soap to the mixture and stir.
  3. Incorporate 1-2 teaspoons of food coloring and stir gently.
  4. Pour the mixture into a clear plastic bottle or jar, filling it halfway.
  5. Place a small LED light or glow stick at the bottom of the bottle.
  6. (Optional) Use a straw to blow gently into the mixture to create bubbles.
  7. Turn off the lights to enjoy the glow of your baking soda lamp.
