Ingredients

- 1 cup baking soda
- 1/2 cup white vinegar
- 1/4 cup cornstarch
- Food coloring (various colors)
- Optional: glitter for extra sparkle
- Mixing bowl
- Cookie cutter shapes (star, moon, etc.)

- Parchment paper
- String or ribbon (for hanging)
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of baking soda with 1/2 cup of white vinegar and observe the fizzing reaction.
- Slowly incorporate 1/4 cup of cornstarch into the mixture, stirring until smooth.
- Separate the dough into small portions and add food coloring, mixing well.
- Roll the colored dough into thick discs or use cookie cutters for fun shapes and place them onto a lined baking sheet.
- Allow the ornaments to dry at room temperature for 24-48 hours until solid.
- Once dry, string through with ribbon or string for hanging, and optionally sprinkle glitter for extra sparkle.
Notes
Experiment with different colors and shapes, and consider adding essential oils for scented ornaments.
