Ingredients
- Baking soda
- White vinegar
- Food coloring (various colors)
- Liquid watercolor paints (optional)
- Small containers for mixing

- Disposable tray or baking sheet for the workspace
- Protective covering for your workspace (newspaper or plastic)
Instructions
- Prepare your workspace by laying down newspaper or plastic.
- In different small containers, add about 2-3 tablespoons of baking soda and spread it evenly on the paper.
- In separate containers, mix 1-2 tablespoons of white vinegar with food coloring or liquid watercolors.
- Using paintbrushes or droppers, apply the colored vinegar to the baking soda and watch the fizzing reaction.
- Allow your artwork to dry completely to preserve the textures.
Notes
Experiment with different color mixtures and techniques for unique creations. Substitute citric acid for vinegar if needed.
