A fun and interactive craft project for kids to create dinosaur eggs using baking soda and vinegar.
Ingredients

- 1 cup baking soda
- 1/2 cup water
- 2–3 tablespoons vinegar
- Food coloring (optional)
- Small plastic dinosaurs or dinosaur toys
- Bowl for mixing
- Baking sheet
- Wax paper or parchment paper
- Optional: paintbrush for decorating
Instructions
- Mix the baking soda and water in a bowl until a dough-like consistency forms, adding food coloring if desired.
- Shape a small handful of dough around a dinosaur toy to form an egg shape.
- Dry the eggs on a baking sheet lined with wax paper for 24-48 hours until hard.
- Digging out the dinosaurs: pour vinegar over the dried eggs to see the fizzing reaction and allow kids to uncover their toys.
Notes
Consider using glitter for sparkle or coloring the eggs to match different dinosaur species.
