Description

A fun and engaging DIY recipe for baking soda dinosaur eggs, perfect for educational playtime and sensory exploration.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup baking soda
  • 1/2 cup white vinegar
  • 1/2 cup cornstarch
  • 1/2 cup water
  • Food coloring (optional)
  • Small plastic dinosaur toys (for surprise inside)
  • Mixing bowl
  • Spoon or whisk
  • Mold (silicone molds or egg carton)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the baking soda and cornstarch. Stir well until fully blended.
  2. In a separate container, mix together the vinegar and water. Optionally, add several drops of food coloring.
  3. Slowly add the wet mixture to the dry ingredients, stirring constantly. Expect a fizzing reaction!
  4. Press a small amount of mixture into your mold, place a plastic dinosaur toy in the center, and cover it with more mixture.
  5. Shape the eggs and allow them to dry overnight or for at least 12 hours until hardened.
  6. Once dry, pop the dinosaur eggs out of the molds and enjoy a fizzy adventure!

Notes

Customize shapes with different molds and experiment with colors for unique designs. Essential oils can be added for a pleasant scent.
