Instructions
- Shape the pipe cleaners into a tree trunk and branches shape, then attach the tree to a string and hang it in the glass jar.
- Combine 1 cup of baking soda with 1 cup of water in a bowl and stir until dissolved. Add food coloring if desired.
- Pour the mixture into the glass jar ensuring the tree is submerged, leaving some air space.
- Place the jar on a tray to catch leaks and let it sit undisturbed for 24-48 hours.
- After waiting, carefully remove the tree, admire the formation of crystals, and rinse if desired.
Notes
