Description

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup baking soda
  • 1/3 cup white vinegar
  • 1/4 cup corn syrup
  • Food coloring (optional, for decoration)
  • Bowl for mixing
  • Baking tray or surface for drying
  • Pipe cleaners (for snowman features)
  • Toothpick or small stick (optional, for detailing)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine 1 cup of baking soda with 1/3 cup of white vinegar. Watch as the mixture fizzes and bubbles.
  2. Once the fizzing subsides, mix in 1/4 cup of corn syrup and add food coloring if desired.
  3. Mold the mixture into different sized snowman shapes on a baking tray.
  4. Use pipe cleaners for features, or a toothpick for detailing.
  5. Let the snowman sit at room temperature for at least 24 hours to dry and form crystals.

Notes
