Ingredients

  • 1 cup of baking soda
  • 1 cup of white school glue
  • 1 cup of water
  • ¼ cup of Borax
  • Container for mixing
  • Whisk or spoon for stirring
  • Parchment paper or tray for drying
  • Optional: Food coloring, glitter, or paint for decoration

Instructions

  1. In a container, combine 1 cup of baking soda with 1 cup of white school glue.
  2. Slowly add 1 cup of water to the mixture and stir until fully blended, ensuring there are no lumps.
  3. In a separate container, dissolve ¼ cup of Borax in 1 cup of hot water, stirring until dissolved.
  4. Slowly pour the Borax solution into the baking soda mixture while continuously stirring.
  5. Once the mixture thickens, shape it into tree branches or desired forms.
  6. Place your shaped trees on parchment paper or a tray and let them dry for at least 24 hours.
  7. Once dry, enhance the look of your trees by painting, sprinkling glitter, or adding food coloring.
