Description

A relaxing DIY face mask made with nourishing blue foods for a delightful sensory experience.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup fresh blueberries (or frozen, thawed)
  • 1/4 cup plain yogurt (Greek or regular)
  • 1 tablespoon honey (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil (optional)

Instructions

  1. Measure out the blueberries. If using frozen, ensure they are thoroughly thawed.
  2. In a small mixing bowl, add the blueberries.
  3. Mash the blueberries with a fork until smooth, or blend for a creamier texture.
  4. Add the yogurt to the mashed blueberries and mix well.
  5. If desired, incorporate honey and coconut oil for added moisture.
  6. Apply the mask evenly onto clean, dry skin with a clean applicator brush or your fingers.
  7. Let the mask sit for about 15-20 minutes while you relax.
  8. Rinse off the mask with warm water, pat dry, and enjoy the softness of your skin.

Notes

Customize by swapping blueberries for spirulina or blue cornflower. Adjust yogurt quantity for thickness. Store fresh mask in the fridge for one day.
