Description
Create an enchanting Aqua Crystal Star using simple materials for stunning home decor or festive occasions.
Ingredients
- Clear glue or Mod Podge
- Epsom salt or coarse sugar
- Blue food coloring (or any color of your choice)
- Cardstock or sturdy paper
- A star-shaped stencil or template
- Paintbrush or sponge
- Shallow dish or tray (for drying)
- Optional: Glitter
Instructions
- Prepare your star template by choosing or creating a star-shaped stencil and cutting it out of cardstock.
- Mix clear glue or Mod Podge with a few drops of blue food coloring.
- Apply a generous layer of the glue mixture onto one side of the star with a paintbrush or sponge.
- While the glue is wet, sprinkle Epsom salt or coarse sugar over the star.
- Place the star in a safe spot to dry completely (6-24 hours depending on humidity).
- Once dry, shake off excess crystals and apply glitter if desired.
Notes
Experiment with different colors and sizes. You can also use fine sand for a different texture.
