Ingredients

Instructions
- Prepare your workspace by clearing a flat surface and covering it with a protective cloth.
- Gather all materials within reach for convenience.
- Take a portion of air-dry clay and roll it out evenly to about ¼ inch thickness.
- Press your child’s hand into the rolled-out clay to create an imprint.
- Carefully use a knife or cookie cutter to trace around the handprint, making a larger shape if desired.
- Use a toothpick to poke a hole at the top of the ornament for hanging.
- Transfer the ornament to a baking sheet or cardboard to dry for 24-72 hours.
- Once dry, paint the ornament with chosen colors and seal with a clear sealant if desired.
- Thread a piece of ribbon or twine through the hole for hanging.
