Create a festive 4th of July windsock to celebrate independence with colorful decorations that you can customize.
Ingredients
- Pipe cleaners (red, white, and blue)
- Streamers (in red, white, and blue)
- Plastic or paper cup
- String or fishing line
- Scissors
- Glue or tape
- Markers or stickers for decoration (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare the Base: Take a clean plastic or paper cup. If using a plastic cup, sand down any sharp edges for safety.
- Decorate the Cup: Use markers or stickers to add patriotic designs to your cup.
- Create the Streamers: Cut the streamers into long pieces (12-18 inches).
- Attach the Streamers: Puncture small holes around the edge of the cup and thread the streamers through the holes.
- Add Hanging String: Puncture another small hole at the top of the cup and thread a piece of string or fishing line through this hole.
- Final Touches: Shake to ensure security, then hang your windsock in a breezy spot.
